Remortgages
Examples of situations where we can assist you with a remortgage including the following:

Guarantees
We can provide you with independent legal advice if you are asked to provide a personal guarantee.
This may be to support the overdraft of a company or your partner’s business or to support a corporate buy to let mortgage.
With guarantees, it is essential to ensure that if possible that there is a financial limit upon the amount of the guarantee and that it possible by giving notice to terminate further liability under the guarantee, where for instance with a corporate debt, a director leaves the company.

Legal disputes in relation to mortgages.
We can assist with this area as well.
Where possession proceedings have been threatened or indeed actually brought by a mortgagee and if it is necessary to re-mortgage to save the property from being repossessed and sold at a forced (reduced) sale value.
Alternatively, concerning a home address, it is possible to apply to the Court to grant a stay of execution of possession, upon the basis of a repayment plan.
We can also represent guarantors where claims have been brought against them by Banks or Landlords to enforce their liabilities under a personal guarantee.
