Our firm’s law offices are located conveniently close to Temple Fortune, a few hundred yards from Henlys Corner on the North Circular Road.
Parking is very easy for our office including a pay and display bay located immediately outside our office of up to two hours and the road immediately opposite Cyprus Road has no parking restrictions except between 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm. The number 13 bus from Golders Green stops immediately opposite to our office (East End Road bus stop).
We have a strong Employment Department including our in-house employment barrister Kevin Harris called to the Bar in 2009. We also have experienced HR Consultant Stephen Jarratt who can assist concerning employment procedures at a reasonable cost.
We act for both employers and employees and undertake a wide range of employment law work.
Examples of employment law work which we undertake are as follows.

- We regularly assist employees in defence of disciplinary allegations and performance management. Where possible we will endeavour to arrange terms for them to leave their employment amicably via a settlement agreement with an agreed reference and an agreed monetary payment.
- We assist staff with long-term sickness (absence) and/or who are suffering from bullying and harassment and/or stress at work. Unfortunately, these scenarios are relatively common.
- We also assist employees who are dismissed or are proposed to be made redundant following pregnancy or maternity leave.
Employment Law Settlement Agreements
We are very experienced advising employee clients concerning employment law settlement agreements, and we usually sign off on many agreements every week. We provide a detailed service including giving advice as to legal rights and amending the agreements to make them commercially acceptable to sign and also pressing employers to waive non-compete covenants where reasonably necessary.
Legal Expense Insurance
We are regularly appointed as non-panel solicitors under such policies. We use our skill and experience to assist our clients in securing cover under such policies. It is sometimes fairly difficult to achieve cover under such policies, where claims are vetted by panel solicitors appointed by the insurance company. We usually support applications for cover with advice from our in-house barrister. We also raise complaints on behalf of our clients if the cover is refused or only granted after a long period of consideration- with requests for cover to be backdated to when the application for the cover was first submitted. We have agreed on hourly charge rates with the main insurer, DAS for undertaking insured work.
