We are very experienced in employment settlement agreements. We undertake detailed work concerning such agreements, and usually sign off on several every week, generally following negotiations upon the wording of such agreements.

We carry out detailed work, including reviewing your employment history, proving advice as to the value of any claims, amending the agreement to make it commercially acceptable for you to sign, requesting a waiver of the applicable non-compete covenants, and if you wish, negotiating/renegotiating the proposed termination package.
It is quite common for agreements to be heavily biased in favour of the employer and hence we spend a considerable amount of time amending the agreements. A typical issue is where an agreement states that if an employee commits any breach of the Agreement, however minor, and irrespective of when committed, then all the termination monies has to be repaid. This obviously is an unacceptable provision.
