- Settlement Agreements.
Settlement Agreements SW1
Settlement Agreements consists of a key area of our work. We normally sign off a number of them every week. We provide a very detailed service to our clients, including: –
i. Advice as to strict legal rights and value of any claims.
ii. Re-negotiating the termination package with the Employer, if so instructed.
iii. Negotiating the terms of the settlement agreement to make it commercially acceptable to sign – usually such agreements are drafted very one-sided in favour of the employer and contain unfair provisions such as if there is any breach of the agreement however minor then all the monies need to be repaid.
iv. Providing advice as to waiver of non-compete covenants to enable the employee to readily find work in the job market following termination of their engagement.
Please contact us by telephone or email if you have a draft settlement agreement to set up an initial meeting or telephone conference. We need to see your current employment contract, a recent payslip as well, and also – in word format please – a draft of the settlement agreement. If this is not available in word format, then we have the software to convert a pdf form into word format and work on that basis.
We are a very approachable firm. To contact us, please telephone on 0207 112 8841 or alternatively email enquiries@sr-law.co.uk.
